I am a big dork when it comes to beer. I track and rate the beers I try on Untappd, although I’ve only tried 122 different beers at this point. That may seem like a lot, but I have a coworker who’s tried 1,000 more than that. One day I will get on his level 🙂
I am a huge fan of summer beers. The grocery store I go to has a “Build Your Own” six pack section, so I use that to sample new things without worrying about having 5 more bottles of a beer I don’t like. In my most recent mixture, I tried two Lagunitas brews that I loved: Passion Grass (pictured) and Aunt Sally. They are both SO GOOD. If you like both fruity and sour beers, you need to try both. They’re both tasty and smooth, you can’t ask for anything more than that.
My other favorite season for beer is right around the corner. Autumn beers are amazing as well, and to be honest I don’t know if I’d be able to choose between the summer and autumn seasonal brews. I don’t think I’ve ever found an Oktoberfest beer that I didn’t like. Pumpkin is hit or miss, but the good ones are THAT good. Beer is one of the featured categories in my nav menu for a reason. Expect more posts raving about beers you need to try, especially during September and October. I can’t wait!
